The year 2009 and the year 2010, was faced with a lot of challenges and successes! BFT managed to regain its AIBA membership status in FEB, 2010.

apart from that poor financial situation of the federation and lack of adequate equipment and facilites, BFT managed to achieve the following:-
  • we conducted two courses for the coaches who went to work and develop boxing from the grassroots level
  • we managed to run a national championship in august 2009 and select the players who joined the national team
  • The national team participated in the trial common wealth games which were held in India during the month of March, 2010 and three players came back with bronze medals
  • we have conducted a Club championships, and open national championship for under 20 and for women in June this year
  • secured little sponsorship from PSI, Bavaria, Sayona, Pepsi and National Sports Council
with this little, we urge our partners and fans to keep following us for more news.
